It’s officially Father’s Day weekend! We have started a tradition where we host a Father’s Day BBQ dinner at our house every year to celebrate my dad, father-in-law, step-dad and of course my husband. It’s a perfect way to all get together and celebrate these great men in our lives.

We typically would like to eat outside, but the weather is supposed to be hot and stormy so we are taking the party inside this year!

I thought you may be doing the same – so I wanted to share how I am attempting a more masculine tablescape and a simple little idea to make the dad’s place-setting special.

I picked up some tall green florals for the centerpieces and am using my favorite wood chargers along with my hurricane candle holders. I recently picked up these new candle holder that match these charges to pull it all together!

I grabbed some mugs from Michael’s that describe each dad perfectly. I wrapped some yummy chocolate in tissue paper, and placed them at each of their spots at the table. An inexpensive and simple way to make it a little more personal!

Whenever we host we use our white china. But like I mentioned, I wanted to make this feel a little more masculine. So I opted for mixing a few of our other plate and bowl sets that are green and grey to achieve that masculine feel!

There you have it – some ideas on how to have your Father’s Day tablescape a little more masculine and personal. Hope you have a wonderful day celebrating the amazing men in your lives!
