I LOVE THE 4TH OF JULY. Like… really really love it. The parade, BBQs and fireworks all spent with friends and family is just the best combination!

We are hosting a 4th of July BBQ this year and I couldn’t help myself in the dollar section at Target! All of the decor, kids activities and serving ware was purchased for under $60 – and it is so easy and festive for your 4th of July BBQ if you’re hosting.

I thought these pinwheels were adorable and very festive, so I stuck them in a few of the larger potted plants to bring some pops of red.

Target has a 3-pack or these little wooden stars for $3. They would look adorable on a mantle, but I used them as table top accessories throughout our outdoor spaces.

I also picked up festive bubbles, glow bracelets and glow sticks for the kiddos to play with! These cute striped bowls are also from the Target dollar section and make a great little display.

Now these aren’t as festive – but what’s a BBQ without adult and kid toys?! We will have a game of bags, spikeball, a football and frisbee for the adults. For the littles we will have t-ball, a little soccer ball, water table, mini pool and of course a sprinkler!

If you follow me on Instagram you saw my poll I posted on these beverage holders! I snagged them from our local Homegoods and I am so excited about how they have turned out. I will be able to use them year round inside as beverage holders, but they would also make adorable planters!

Target also has these patriotic (and inexpensive) hand towels that add the perfect touch to drink dispensers.

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you know that I have no problem using paper plates, especially when I’m hosting 10+ people. I snagged these from (you guessed it) Target.

There you go – some easy and inexpensive ways to make your outdoor spaces festive for the 4th of July! I hope you stay cool and make great family memories celebrating this great country!
