Who is hosting a Friendsgiving, Thanksgiving or just a dinner party for friends this fall?! I love doing simple but fun tablescapes that are inexpensive and easy to attain with things you already own, plus a few cheap purchases.

First I grabbed my gold chargers from Michael’s I bought years ago, that they still have, and are SO reasonably priced. I went with all gold because I like the warm hue for fall (and it’s so trendy these days).

Then I went with my crisp white china plate set to keep it simple. I topped the china with cute buffalo plaid napkins from HomeGoods. HomeGoods is always the best place to find seasonal napkins at a reasonable price!

On top of the buffalo plaid napkins I grabbed these seasonal bread plates from Michael’s for 50+20% off! I love the two different colors and they will definitely be a new fall tablescape staple for years to come for our family.

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you know I love to layer a Michael’s garland on top of a table runner for a more formal look (that is actually super easy). And this is no different! I grabbed this on sale from Michael’s this week (for 50+20% off again) making it almost $10!

I also added seasonal throw pillows to the chairs at the head of the table to make it feel cozy and welcoming. I can’t believe I haven’t done this before – I love the softness and pop of color it adds to the room!
