If you have been reading my blog for awhile you have probably caught on to the fact that I love holidays and hosting. The 4th of July is particularly fun because it’s an excuse to BBQ with friends and family, enjoy a beautiful (fingers crossed!) summer day, while celebrating our country!

If you are hosting people for the 4th of July I wanted to share some fun ways to style inexpensive decor for a tablescape or on a BBQ table with all your food. Almost all of this is from Target, and most of which is from the dollar spot.

This tablecloth is intended to be more of a “throw” and I love the casual look it brings to the table. This would look great on an outdoor table or on the table you place all your food on. These plates are from HomeGoods but the dollar spot has some very similar reusable outdoor plastic plates too.

If you read my other post on hosting a 4th of July BBQ, you know I love to have some fun and special things for the kiddos! I packed this striped canister with bubbles, fun and festive sunglasses and sparklers

Another way to bring in some summery accents is laying natural textures. I love the looks of different wicker (chargers linked here) and woods right now – and it can really bring a fun pop to your seasonal decor. Don’t be afraid of mixing different variations of colors together! They don’t have to match perfectly, just need to compliment one another.

Happy hosting, friends! Thank you so much for stopping by.
