Fall shoes might be my favorite. All the textures, the different styles of boots and booties are so fun to pair with an outfit and can make such a statement! Today I am sharing a few of my favorites this season that are staples.

These are shoes you can wear to work, date night, church or to brunch with girlfriends and can be styled in so many ways.

leopard pumps |  tan boots | black booties  |  nude booties

If you haven’t noticed – leopard is everywhere! I love the leopard bootie style right now, but I haven’t found the right pair quite yet. But these pumps I get so much use out of and I think they are a bit more timeless than the booties (don’t get me wrong – I love the booties, but I’m not 100% sold that I’ll love them in a year or two still).

Tall boots are back in style this year – the last few years it’s been all about booties and other-the-knee boots. There is an expensive pair that was on the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but Target came out with a very similar option I snagged. They are super comfortable and I love the color and height!

The last two are examples of booties every woman needs in her closet – a pair of nude booties and a pair of black booties. The black booties are perfect for the holidays and can be dressed up with tights and a leather jacket (I typically prefer to buy black booties in a fabric other than leather because I try and avoid black leather jackets with black leather boots – just personal preference), or a fancy dress. They can also be dressed down with leggings and an oversized tunic.

As for the nude booties – these are a great staple with jeans, tights or leggings as well. They go with just about everything and you will definitely get great use out of them. So make sure they are comfortable! The pair in the flat-lay of this post and the image above are two of my favorites. The beige Sam Eldeman boot is a little dressier, whereas the tan Madden girl boot is a little more casual. Both comfortable and great options if you’re in the market!

Alright – those are some of my favorites for the season! I’ll be on the look-out for the “perfect” leopard bootie and let you know if I find it!
