It’s that time of year where your calendar is packed with celebrations with friends, neighbors and family. I am a believer in never showing up empty handed when attending a party or event (unless you’re coming to my house – just bring yourselves!), and a little hostess gift is a perfect way to thank someone for a fun party or delicious meal. Plus any excuse to give someone a little something special is fun!
Hostess gifts don’t have to require a lot of work (handmaid things are wonderful, but my calendar is just not allowing for that these days – If yours is, you go girl!!) or money.
My favorite place to stock up is HomeGoods or Marshalls. They have tons of great little gifts for under $10 – most of the things below I found (or similar items can be found) and HomeGoods or Marshalls. Just toss one or two items in a baggy with some of our favorite chocolates and you’re good to go!
Here is a list of fun and easy gift that you can easily grab next time you’re out running errands. Stock up now so that you don’t even have to think about it when the party is coming up!
LIST OF HOSTESS GIFT IDEAS:
- Earrings (pick up an extra pair of your favorites and give them to a friend who has complimented you on them!)
- Mini cheese board
- Cheese knives
- Your favorite seasoning (everything but the bagel and fox point are my two favorites)
- Festive corkscrew
- Small baking dish
- Bottle of wine or prosecco
- Festive wine stopper
- Beauty product (lip masque is a great one)
Don’t over-think it or stress too much! A hostess gift is just an opportunity to show someone you appreciate them and bless them. Doesn’t have to be perfect or pricey.
